On December 29, China (Chongqing·Banan) used car export base signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Chongqing RCEP Investment and Trade Service Center. Fu Yi, person in charge of Chongqing Banan Used Car Export Base and General Manager of Huanyu Automobile, signed a contract with Lu Zheng, Minister of the Chongqing Automobile Shipping Division of RCEP Service Center, on behalf of both parties. Mei Xiaoli, Deputy Director of the Banan District Commerce Committee, Yang Ming, Secretary-General of the RCEP Service Center, and Fu Yueming, Chairman of Chongqing Huanyu Automobile, jointly witnessed the contract.

General Manager Fu Yi said that this cooperation is in response to the specific practice of the country's "double circulation" strategy and the RCEP agreement. It aims to build a comprehensive economic and trade service platform integrating legal compliance and cross-border finance through complementary resources, and open up the "Chongqing" car going to sea "blocking points, helping Chongqing Automobile" go global ".

According to reports, since its establishment, the base has innovatively adopted the "one base, two platforms, three characteristics, and ten service centers" model to achieve counter-trend growth in export volume. This year, export volume increased by 30% year-on-year. The launch of the base's official website makes it Chongqing's first full-chain digital platform for used car exports, providing strong digital momentum for the export business.

Minister Lu Zheng pointed out that the RCEP agreement will help Chongqing's second-hand car exports fully integrate with overseas policy advantages, especially to promote ASEAN countries to further increase tariff reductions and exemptions on China's second-hand car imports, and significantly improve the competitiveness of Chongqing's second-hand cars in the ASEAN market.

Regarding the future, General Manager Fu Yi revealed that both parties will promote the implementation of the entire industry chain model of "complete vehicle + accessories + logistics + finance", export "Chongqing services" and "China standards", and continue to expand overseas markets.

The signing of the contract marks a solid step for both parties in promoting "Chongqing Vehicles Going to Sea". In the future, the two sides will join hands with a more open attitude and more pragmatic actions to jointly open a new chapter in the internationalization of used cars and contribute to the prosperity and development of Chongqing's automobile industry.
