Secretary-General Lang Xuehong first introduced the overview of the global automobile market: Last year, global automobile production and sales reached 96 million units, with an average annual growth rate of about 3% in the past ten years, of which China accounted for more than one-third. She pointed out that there is a large demand for right-hand steering vehicles in the global market, especially in ASEAN countries, Pacific countries and some African countries; the global trade volume of used cars is small. With the continued economic growth of underdeveloped countries (especially African countries), there will be more and more demand for cars. Enterprises need to pay attention to right-hand steering products and rudder modification services, and used car export business.

In terms of the performance of my country's automobile exports, Secretary-General Lang pointed out that China's automobile exports have entered a period of explosive growth. In 2025, the total export volume of China Industry Association reached 7 million units; with the rapid rise of my country's new energy vehicles, the export pattern of the automobile industry is accelerating its reshaping. Latin America, the Middle East, and European markets are all large export destinations, and Africa is also a very important potential market.

In terms of second-hand car exports, it has shown a rapid growth trend since the export of second-hand cars was liberalized in 2019, jumping from 400,000 in 2024 to nearly 700,000 in 2025; Faced with the impact of the new regulations in 2026, it is recommended that second-hand car exporting enterprises transform. Adopt a two-line parallel strategy of "new car overseas authorization + car modification"; the main destinations for long-kilometer used cars are still the Middle East, Central Asia, and Africa. Companies seize the market opportunities brought by the EU's tightening of the outflow of long-kilometer cars.   

Finally, Secretary-General Lang analyzed the development prospects of various regional markets one by one: my country implements a one-way zero-tariff policy for many African countries, recommending that exporting companies give priority to African countries with stable political conditions, and second-hand cars are more competitive than 5 years old; Europe The annual demand for passenger vehicles exceeds 10 million, of which the penetration rate of new energy in Northern Europe is as high as 70%. The five ASEAN and Central Asian countries are all focusing on developing markets.
