According to data from Russian analyst agency Autostat, in the first half of 2025, Russia imported a total of 181,600 used passenger cars, an increase of 2% over the same period last year. Among these imported used cars, nearly half (49.5%) came from Japan, with South Korea ranking second with a market share of 22.5%. China and Georgia ranked third and fourth with market shares of 12.4% and 7%, respectively, while Belarus ranked fifth with a market share of 3.1%. Other countries have market shares of less than 2%.

In terms of brands, Toyota ranks first among imported used car brands with a market share of 21.4%. Honda ranks second with a market share of 17.5%, BMW ranks third with 8.6%, Kia ranks fourth with 7.4%, and Mercedes-Benz ranks fifth with 5.2%. Among the imported used car models, Honda Freed, Honda Fit, Toyota Corolla, Honda Stepwgn and Honda Vezel are the most popular models.
