[Cairo News] According to Egyptian media reports, Toyota's official agent in Egypt "Toyota Egypt" recently issued a statement saying that the company plans to introduce Toyota brand electric vehicles to the Egyptian market for the first time in the future as part of its more modern travel plan in the area.

It is noteworthy that Toyota Egypt also made a clear reminder in its statement to the "unofficial vehicle sources" on the market: electric vehicles with Toyota logos currently appearing on Egyptian streets and trading markets are not sold through its official channels. The company emphasized that these vehicles are not under its direct supervision and are not covered by its official product and service system.

Toyota Egypt further stated that the above-mentioned "parallel imported" electric vehicles have hidden dangers in adaptability-their configuration and technical standards may not meet Egypt's operating environment and climate conditions; more importantly, such vehicles do not enjoy any recognized warranty provided by Egypt's official agents, follow-up maintenance, software support and accessory guarantees may face uncertainty.
