In order to further collect practical problems in the second-hand passenger car industry and focus on the construction of the regional automobile consumer market and the development of local commerce and economy, on the afternoon of August 11, the Banan District Committee of the Democratic National Construction Association held a special research symposium on the standardized development of the second-hand passenger car market. Deputy Chairmen of the District Committee Tan Hengmin, Zhang Bing, and key members such as Li Tianyin and Bai Gang attended the meeting. Wang Shuaihua, Chief of the Market Order Section of the District Commerce Committee, Chen Kaichen, General Manager of Chongqing Kaige Automobile Maintenance Service Co., Ltd., and other industry authorities and market entities were invited to attend the meeting to talk about the development of the industry and solve development problems.

Banan District is the core carrying area for the circulation of second-hand passenger cars in Chongqing. Market booths and transaction volume account for a large proportion of the central Urban area. In recent years, the industry has developed well. In 2025, the sales of second-hand car companies in Banan District will be 2.1 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17.3%."Improving the brand of used car export bases" has been included in the 2026 district government work report. However, the current industry still has problems such as scattered business entities, irregular operations, and insufficient brand competitiveness. There is an urgent need for quality improvement and upgrading.

Based on the overall development of regional industries and closely following the mission of participating in politics and performing duties, the Banan District Committee of the Democratic National Construction Association listed "promoting the standardized development of the second-hand passenger car market" as an annual political party consultation topic. At the beginning of the year, a special research class was set up to deeply cultivate the front line of the market. Visit market entities, identify industry pain points, systematically sort out development blockages, and initially form a special research report and a series of highly targeted and operable work suggestions to lay a solid foundation for this discussion.
