Car trade-in has supported more than 21 million people to buy new cars, with an average subsidy of 14,000 yuan per car

More than 40% of domestic passenger car retail sales enjoy trade-in subsidies

From January to May 2026, 8.1 million used cars were traded, a growth of 2.3% against the trend

A total of more than 8 million old cars have been scrapped and recycled. 5. Detailed rules for subsidies for new energy vehicles going to the countryside (released on June 18)

Old cars are scrapped and replaced with new energy vehicles: the price of new cars is 12%, up to 20,000 yuan
