2026 is a critical year for the "15th Five-Year Plan" to fully launch. It is also a critical stage for China's automobile industry to deepen supply-side structural reforms and accelerate its transformation to high-quality development. In the past year, driven by a series of favorable policies such as the continuous efforts of the country's "Double New" policies, the comprehensive elimination of relocation restrictions, and the optimization of transaction registration processes, the transaction scale of the national used car market has steadily expanded, and the penetration rate of new energy used cars has increased rapidly. The efficiency of cross-regional circulation has improved significantly, and the industry as a whole has shown a development trend of "increasing both quantity and quality". However, with changes in the market environment, used car operations are facing practical challenges such as sharp price fluctuations, and there is an urgent need to solve development bottlenecks through model innovation and synergy.

In order to build industry consensus, strengthen innovation drive, and promote the used car industry to move towards standardization, efficiency and sustainability, China Automobile Dealers Association is scheduled to hold the 2026 China Used Car Conference in Wuxi, Jiangsu from July 8 to 10. This conference will focus on reshaping value, strengthen upstream and downstream collaboration in the industrial chain, share resources, activate the linkage efficiency of used cars and finance, empower the used car market, and help the industry healthy and prosperous.
