The event, hosted by the Chengdu City Commerce Bureau and the Shuangliu District People's Government of Chengdu City, and co-organized by China Automobile Dealers Association and Sichuan Province Used Car Chamber of Commerce, attracted nearly 500 people from five countries including Russia, South Korea, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, as well as domestic automobile companies, traders, and supply chain service providers, gathered in the city.

Since the Ministry of Commerce and other five departments fully liberalized the used car export business in 2024 and the launch of China (Sichuan Shuangliu) used car export base, Sichuan's used car export industry has risen rapidly. As the core activity of "Sichuan Complete Vehicle Trade Global Tour", this matchmaking meeting has become the professional annual brand for used car exports with the highest specifications, largest scale and highest degree of internationalization in the western region.

Implementation of the country's first provincial-level overseas comprehensive service system

At the event site, the country's first provincial-level comprehensive service system for used car exports overseas-"Sichuan Province Comprehensive Service System for Used Car Exports Overseas" was officially released. This system builds a full-chain support from sales exhibition, warehousing, after-sales maintenance and other links, takes the lead in solving the industry's pain point of "emphasizing sales over services", and promotes the transformation of Sichuan's used car exports from "single trade" to "global service ecosystem".

In the same period, the first batch of six overseas integrated service stations in China (Sichuan Shuangliu) used car export base were unveiled, covering six key markets of Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Minsk, Belarus, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Moscow, Russia, and Baku, Azerbaijan. This is the country's first overseas public service network for the export of used cars led by local government bases, operated by enterprises in the province, and fully covering key markets, truly realizing the realization of "wherever cars are sold, services follow wherever they go."

Wang Xiaojun, the operating unit of the Bishkek service station and general manager of Sichuan Province Foreign Comprehensive Yunfu Technology Co., Ltd., said: "What we are doing is to move the public services of used car export bases overseas to solve the pain points of companies 'lack of overseas experience and insufficient resources."

Alexei Podsekorkin, chairman of the Russian Automobile Dealers Association, pointed out that there is strong demand for China's high-quality used cars in the Russian and Eurasian markets, and Sichuan's complete overseas service system will greatly enhance cooperation efficiency and trust.

Eight major bases collaborate across provinces to build a "national game of chess"

This event achieved the first joint signing of contracts between the country's eight used car export bases. Initiated by China (Sichuan Shuangliu) Used Car Export Base, China (Chongqing Banan) Automobile Export Base, China (Guiyang) Used Car Export Base, China (Zhuzhou) Used Car Export Base, China (Guangzhou Baiyun) Automobile Export Base, China (Guangzhou Pazhou) Automobile Export Base, Suifenhe Travel International Automobile Export Base, and China Nansha International Automobile Center jointly responded and signed the "National Used Car Export Base Coordinated Development Agreement". Establish a national integrated development mechanism for resource exchange, standard coordination, information sharing, and complementary advantages.

This move breaks down regional barriers and promotes China's second-hand car exports from "decentralized competition and individual battles" to "working together to go to sea and work together." Chen Huiling, the operating unit of China Nansha International Automobile Center and marketing director of Guangzhou Huahui Real Estate Investment Co., Ltd., said: "The linkage between Nansha and Shuangliu is a strong combination of 'coastal' and 'inland'. Shuangliu has the advantage of vehicle sources in the southwest hinterland and market channels in Central Asia and Russia. Nansha has the advantages of shipping logistics and the ability to radiate markets in the Middle East and Africa. Through collaboration, we can realize vehicle-source interoperability, resource sharing, and jointly build a more efficient and larger global trade network."

Two major signings were held simultaneously at the event site. On the one hand, China (Sichuan Shuangliu) used car export base has signed contracts with national leading vehicle source platforms such as Youxin Group, Shenzhou Car Rental, Paipai Car, Jinyutang, and Juxiang Travel, taking the lead in building a large-scale, compliant and sustainable export vehicle source guarantee system effectively solves the problem of "unstable vehicle sources and unbalanced supply and demand." Jin Qi, general manager of Youxin Group's export business, said: "Youxin's self-operated inventory vehicles will reach 15000 units by the end of this year. Relying on the 'offline warehousing hypermarkets + online national purchase', we will provide' end-to-end 'digital selection services to achieve seamless connection from car selection to going to sea."

On the other hand, seven major trade orders for used car exports were signed in a centralized manner. The partners came from Russia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and other countries, with a total contract amount of nearly 500 million yuan, covering new energy and traditional fuel vehicles, involving vehicle order export and long-term procurement strategic cooperation.

The relevant person in charge of the Shuangliu District Commerce Bureau of Chengdu City said that this matchmaking meeting has established an efficient cooperation platform for used car trading entities at home and abroad. Shuangliu will base itself on the construction of a provincial used car export base, continue to optimize industrial supporting facilities and government services, and strive to build Shuangliu used car export base into a domestic benchmark cross-border used car distribution hub.
