
In order to implement the consensus reached at the China-EU leaders 'meeting and properly resolve the EU's electric vehicle case against China, China and the EU conducted several rounds of consultations in an attitude of mutual respect. Both sides agreed that it is necessary to provide general guidance on price commitments to China exporters exporting pure electric vehicles to the EU, so that China exporters can address relevant concerns in a more practical, targeted and in line with WTO rules.
To this end, the European side will issue the "Guidance Document on Submitting Price Commitment Applications" and confirm in the document that the European side will adhere to the principle of non-discrimination and apply the same laws to each price commitment application in accordance with relevant provisions of WTO rules. Standards and evaluate in an objective and fair manner.
This fully reflects the spirit of dialogue and consultation results between China and the EU. China and the EU have the ability and willingness to properly resolve differences through dialogue and consultation within the framework of WTO rules and maintain the stability of China-EU and global automobile industry and supply chains. This is not only conducive to the healthy development of China-EU economic and trade relations, but also conducive to maintaining a rules-based international trade order.
